Erik Schuk has worked for 20 years in the senior living industry, initially as an Executive Chef and for the past seven years as an Executive Director. He brings with him a wealth of operational experience, including running his own restaurant. Erik attended business school in his native country of Finland, and his passion for taking care of people guided him to study culinary arts and hospitality management.  

Erik speaks three languages fluently and has work experience in four different countries. He resides in Reedley with his wife, Virginia, and their children, Tobias, Tomas and Annika. 

Thomas Forbes joined Solstice Senior Living at Clovis in 2017. Prior to joining the team, Thomas held multiple roles in senior living, including multi-site specialist in independent living, assisted living, memory care, new construction and acquisitions. His favorite part of working at Solstice is being able to share the beauty of senior living with families.

Thomas attended Pacific Union College and currently resides in Central Valley with his wife and four children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling to sports competitions with his family and spending time together.

Sara Gassett has been with the Solstice Senior Living at Clovis community for over nine years. She takes the company’s culture keeper “Be passionate about what you do every day” to heart. Sara enjoys planning and running community activities and considers the residents extended family. Born in Fresno, Calif., Sara graduated from Clovis East High School in 2007. She currently resides in Clovis with her husband, Thomas, and their two dogs. In her spare time, Sara enjoys playing video games and rhythm games at the arcade and watching shows and movies on Netflix and Hulu.

Chef Ruben Diaz is the Culinary Services director for Solstice Senior Living at Clovis. Ruben has spent his entire career in the culinary industry training under talented chefs, taking classes at the Culinary Institute of America and participating in cooking competitions across the country.

Ruben moved to California over two decades ago and has been part of the Solstice team for more than a decade. He takes pride in creating flavorful, healthy meals and loves seeing the joy in the residents’ eyes when they enjoy his food.

Ruben is married and has two sons, whom he cooks with in his spare time.

Anne-Marie Brady has been with Solstice Senior Living at Clovis since 2016. As the Business Office director, Anne-Marie works with human resources, finance and training. She is passionate about her work and enjoys supporting and motivating the Solstice residents and staff. Anne-Marie considers her co-workers her family, and they inspire her to strive for greatness every day.

Born in Fresno, Calif., Anne-Marie grew up in Dos Palos. She currently lives in Chowchilla with her husband, William, and their seven fur babies, Shasha, Snowball, Creasy Bear, South Side, North Side, Fat Girl and Boy Boy.

Albert Antuna is the Building Services director for Solstice Senior Living at Clovis. Prior to joining the team, he worked in building services in HVAC and hospitals. Albert considers resident safety his top priority and enjoys his daily interactions with the vibrant and diverse Solstice community. Albert believes that seniors are truly a great generation filled with abundant knowledge and wisdom, which makes his work pleasurable.

Outside of the office, Albert enjoys spending time with his wife, Alma, and their two children while enjoying the outdoors, and volunteering with local organizations.
